My ADHD-friendly gravity dispenser might look a little crazy, but so does buying more black beans when you already have six cans.

Checking the cabinets before you shop doesn't help if you can't actually see what's in them.

And a thorough check means moving things around, keeping a mental inventory of what you need, comparing that to what you've found, and holding onto all of that in your head long enough to get it on a shopping list.

That's a lot of friction and a lot of opportunities to get sidetracked for an ADHD brain.

And then I have to rummage through that chaos again when it's time to cook? No thanks.

So I made the shelf do the work for me.

Now, I can immediately see what we have, and an empty row makes it super obvious when something is out.

Plus when I'm cooking I find what I need in literally one second.

The best part is how easy it is to KEEP the cabinet organized. There are zero decisions to make because everything already has a specific spot and no temptation to squeeze a can into whatever random open space I see first.

So it actually stays this way without any discipline, willpower or remembering required.
That's what I look for in an ADHD-friendly system.

The girl who changed our entire lives turns 5 today💕🎊🎂and this one is by far the most emotional birthday to date. 5 truly hits different…and I’m lowkey mad yall didn’t warn me about it because I’ve been crying since yesterday 😭 because what do you mean the baby I just gave birth to yesterday now has a full blown personality, has a heart bigger than most grown folks I know, can tell jokes, can read and write, likes alllll the girly things, is empathetic and has so much emotional intelligence, is so smart, is so kind and loves helping people, and did I say has so much personality?!🥹

To go from not even wanting kids to having my entire life changed by those big brown eyes and beautiful smile, I truly could not imagine my life without this girl. She changed my life and most importantly she changed me. Olivia, you are truly the gift that keeps on giving and I am so honored to be your mommy! Like I told you this morning, you’re the best daughter and our best friend🤍 Happy 5th birthday princess!!!👑

PS- yall know my girl likes playing in “real makeup” just like her mama😂
