This is what 26.2 miles of the @nycmarathon looks like with type 1 diabetes.

Every runner is thinking about pace and fuel. I'm thinking about that plus my blood sugar, every single mile... finger sticks with Gina when Bluetooth drops out, and @glow__gummies the whole way so I don't go low.

80 of us run all 5 boroughs for @beyondtype1 next Sunday. To everyone who donated, thank you.

AUTUMN WORKWEAR 🍂 planned before the RedWings were mine

Cooler mornings mean it’s time for the beanie and gloves again ⛑️🧤

I already knew my Iron Heart corduroy shirt would work perfectly with my new Red Wing boots before I bought them. Add a canvas vest and worn-in selvedge denim, and the outfit was pretty much planned.

Do you think about how a new piece will work with your wardrobe before you buy it, or figure it out as you go?
