Doing an Essential Mix is one of the real honors in my career. I got to do one back in 2011, and it still represents what I stand for and where I came from. Prepping for Superior Ingredients, it hit me that this was a completely different crowd than what I’m used to, and I needed to figure out what sort of journey I was going to go on. Right up until I walked on I was still figuring out what that meant. A few people had came up to me and told me they knew me from the Pacha New York days from 2010. Many associate me with that time - the golden era… But many don’t know I’ve been putting out records since 1995. So I decided to show everyone where my sound actually started and I went back to the roots, honoring New York. Armand Van Helden. Masters At Work. Todd Terry. David Morales as you can see in the video. The New York house that influenced my very early days. Somewhere in the middle of the set I looked up and thought, wow, this is another Essential Mix! The full set and journey is on YouTube now, link in bio. Superior Ingredients, thank you for a magical night and a perfect 2026 summer round off.
Good luck to all the runners heading to the start line in New York. The taper is on.   Before all this came the longest run, a training milestone many find more daunting than race day itself. We asked Matt James and Anya Culling to compare notes on what it takes to get through it while tackling another exercise in patience.
Your weekend bartender 🍸 All the baffoonery, fully intact. Don’t miss the five accents, zero shame. 😂
This post hurts to make, that’s why it took so long to get it out. I had an amazing chance to win my 3rd USDGC and was not able to close it out. This is the most frustrated I’ve ever been after losing a tournament. The most frustrating part is it felt out of my control once I lost my footing on my 2nd shot on 18. I had so much confidence that I was going to be able to win this after the slow day I had. I can look back to so many shots that cost me the tournament but I just have to move on. Congrats to @cheimborg on his first US title! Absolute honor battling with you and @sockibomb13 Thanks to everyone who sent me a message or came out to cheer me on! Thanks to my caddie @moschlabach for hyping me up the whole week! #discgolf #discmaniadiscs #squatchdiscgolfbags #sports
