Someone used Claude Code to help build an unofficial PS5 game store offering access to more than 1,600 game downloads.

Called Overdrive, the homebrew app runs on jailbroken PlayStation 5 consoles and features a storefront that looks remarkably similar to Sony’s official PlayStation Store.

The catalog contains 1,669 PS4 and PS5 game listings, including major titles like Black Myth: Wukong, Tekken 8, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The games are offered without purchase prices, with downloads reportedly available through third-party file-hosting services.

The project’s public GitHub repository also reveals how Claude Code was integrated into development, with custom AI-assisted workflows for building the app, running tests, managing fixes, and publishing releases.

Overdrive requires a compatible jailbroken PS5 and isn’t affiliated with Sony. The downloads involve commercial games that haven’t officially been made free, and not every listing has been verified to work.

What do you think Sony’s response to this will be? 👀

~ The Rifle of a Western Contractor in Haiti

Today’s post features this image that was posted earlier today by a Haitian individual affiliated with a specialised police unit who can be seen posing with a rather distinctive rifle that clearly belongs to a foreigner contracting in Haiti.

This particular rifle appears to be a Specters Cat CACM 6ARC rifle (or something similar) rocking a DuraMag as well as what appears to be a Specters Cat suppressor, likely an undesignated model. Additionally, the rifle is fitted with a Vortex 1-10X Eleanor Scope as well as an Aimpoint ACRO RDS and B5 Bravo stock.

Foreign private military companies are operating in Haiti because of the country’s severe security crisis, widespread gang violence, political instability and the weakness of its national police.

The Haitian government has turned to foreign security contractors, including the American based Vectus Global, led by Erik Prince, to support anti-gang operations through armed drones, helicopters and other tactical capabilities. Their involvement aims to restore security, protect civilians and key infrastructure, and strengthen the government’s control.
