Across continents and centuries, cultures and languages, the Virgin Mary keeps appearing — painted, carved, woven, prayed to, whispered about.

I’m creating Everywhere Virgin Mary to share images of Mary from around the world: how she is seen, imagined, and loved in different places. Alongside these images, I’ll be offering quiet reflections — moments of pondering who she was, who she is, and what she continues to mean for people everywhere.

I’m deeply passionate about Mary. I’m currently writing a novel about her life, and along that journey I’ve encountered a wealth of extraordinary images — tender, powerful, unexpected — that felt too beautiful not to share.

Mary may be the most recognisable woman in human history. In a world marked by division, conflict, and noise, there is something about her presence that endures. Something gentle. Something unifying. Something human.

This page is an invitation to pause, to look, and to ponder.
