Many people canโt see it yet, but there is a global movement working to deconstruct the viability of Western civilization. Empathy without boundaries is enabling this movement, treating compassion as if it must override consequences. Mercy without justice is enabling; justice without mercy is tyranny. Prudence can balance these. โ Western civilization remains the only societal model Iโve seen where an ordinary family can live peacefully and thrive. That stability requires both freedom and justice, not one or the other. Other social issues are peripheral to these core criteria. When nations fail to uphold them, they fail the families who depend on them. โ And when I say โWestern civilization,โ Iโm not talking about ethnicity or geography. Iโm talking about a system of freedom, justice, and institutional integrity. Any society that protects predictable law, low corruption, stable governance, economic mobility, and social order is operating on these same principles.
