@celiarowlsonhall watched this today and your work on this was DIVINE. Literally- created such amazing sequences and motifs, and that triple circle at the end!? My god i can only imagine how difficult achieving symmetry would have been for the dancers and camera operators!

The Virtual Toad Choir Presents: SILENT NIGHT (2023) The Virtual Toad Choir Presents: SILENT NIGHT is a playful Christmas project created by animator and musician Louie Zong, bringing together a group of contributors to create a virtual choir of Toad voices. Released in December 2023, the one minute video features the classic Christmas carol “Silent Night” performed in the distinctive voice style associated with Toad from the Super Mario universe. The project grew from the internet’s long running “Toad sings” meme, where people recreate familiar songs using Toad’s recognizable vocal style. Zong had previously created a virtual Toad choir for “Auld Lang Syne” in 2020, making this Christmas release a fun continuation of the idea. The result is an intentionally unusual holiday performance that turns a familiar Christmas classic into something wonderfully chaotic and memorable.
