Very few understand the pain of slowly losing your partner to a disease like cancer.
Cancer takes and takes. One day we’re traveling together, and the next Tanner can barely walk into the movies for a date night.
I began grieving Tanner the day he was diagnosed, and I grieved every single day after.
The loss was slow and torturous. And although I miss Tanner more than anything, I would never wish him here in the condition he was in because he was absolutely miserable.
Miss you my love. I hope you’re up there teasing the dinosaurs 🦖
