Talk about an explosive start to the year!!🤯

Between the BTS tour announcement and ticket sales (which, btw, I WON, we’re seeing them in Brussels and Paris!!), and me suddenly being in a seriously intense fantasy reading mood… I’ve never read five fantasy books back-to-back before! Surprise, hello the year of fantasy?? I don’t know about you, but I’m loving 2026 so far!❤️‍🔥

I was supposed to post this last week, so it’s not totally up-to-date, but here are some quick notes on the books I’ve read recently:

The Irresistible Urge to Fall for Your Enemy: really enjoyed it!

The Game Gods Play: absolutely loved it, obsessed! Can’t wait for book two to arrive.

I did have a couple of disappointments:

Of Wing and Blood: the setting gave me strong Fourth Wing vibes, but I couldn’t connect with either the female or male character.

Fruit of the Flesh: DNF’d at 57%, which is way longer than my usual. Do you usually review books you DNF? I’m on the fence about giving my opinion here.

Blood of Hercules: the setting, characters, world-building, and story, brilliant, but the writing style was a bit hard for me to get into.

Anyway, I want to hear from you, what are you reading right now? More into fantasy novels, light contemporary reads, or maybe venturing into the dark side of romance??👀
