Jazz at Lincoln Center

“Happy Birthday Elliot! I’m truly grateful to have shared so many years playing alongside you. You are a real master of your instrument, and probably one of the few trombonists in the world that consistently makes the saxophones turn around in amazement.

For anyone that doesn’t know, Elliot is usually the person who is given the hardest solos with the fastest tempos and the most difficult changes, because he always makes it look effortless to play on them. Besides being a monster on the trombone, he also excels at everything else he commits to, whether it’s tennis, chess, audio gear, and even coffee. Here’s to another great year of music, jokes, and natural Ethiopian coffees together. Happy Birthday brother!”
