LIONS SADDENED BY THE PASSING OF STAR LOCK

It is with broken hearts that we mourn the passing of Hyron Andrews, a valued member of our Lions family.

Our deepest condolences are with Maiglin, Hendrix, Emerson and the entire Andrews family during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Hyron. You will always be part of our family. ❤️

A joint press conference by All India Students’ Association (AISA) president Neha Bora and Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke turned chaotic in New Delhi on October 15, as a group of people interrupted the event with slogans. Shouts of “Band karo… dafa ho jao” (Stop it… get lost) could be heard as the press conference began at the Press Club of India.

Bora urged the organisers to escort those disrupting the event out, while Dipke addressed the ongoing protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. He alleged that student activists and opposition leaders had been detained during demonstrations over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The press conference was also attended by advocate Prashant Bhushan, Kapil Sibal and actor Prakash Raj.

The incident came a day before CJP’s planned “Lehra Do Tiranga” march in Delhi’s Connaught Place, where authorities had stepped up security and imposed restrictions on public gatherings. The protests centre on demands for Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation and allegations of irregularities in voter-list revisions—claims disputed by the Election Commission.

Ekonomi Maluku Utara tumbuh tinggi. Tapi sudahkah pertumbuhannya terasa sampai ke rumah-rumah masyarakat?

Itulah refleksi kami dalam Paripurna Istimewa HUT ke-27 Maluku Utara - 12 Oktober 2026.

RASA — Tumbuhnya Mesti Terasa.

Sepanjang 2025–2026, kita memperbesar intervensi:

Namun angka bukan ukuran akhir keberhasilan.

Jalan harus menurunkan biaya distribusi. Bantuan harus meningkatkan penghasilan. Pendidikan harus membuka masa depan. Rumah sakit harus benar-benar melayani.

Masih banyak PR kita bersama.

Selamat HUT ke-27, Maluku Utara. 🤍

Rumah kita. PR kita. Tanggung jawab kita bersama.

RASA — tumbuh mesti terasa
