Why,
in the face of the events of 2025,
should we be hopeful for 2026?

Hope shouldn’t be a naive longing for a better world;
To be actionable, hope needs to be rooted in concrete actions
To get to actions, we need to raise awareness
Awareness leads to understanding,
Understanding leads to reflection,
Reflection leads to action,
Action leads to change

So how can we raise awareness?
It’s easier than you think:
Start the conversation

Even if your views are not completely formed yet,
start reading & talking to develop your opinion and become more aware of what’s happening
Don’t shy away from hard topics, embrace the discomfort, try to understand the opinion of others

Speaking out is a choice, staying silent even more so
