During a recent interview, Arij Fatyma Jafri opened up about her hijab journey, revealing that she initially made a pledge to wear hijab out of fear of losing her hair during chemotherapy, as she had always been very proud of it. However, she later realised that wearing hijab should be a choice rooted in faith rather than fear. She also emphasised that illness should never be seen as a sign of weak faith or a punishment for one's sins. #ArijFatymaJafri (📸: @hafizahmedofficial)
Ok moms, we’re not broken, but we might be unstable after a C-section (yes, even years and decades later)💛 . Maybe you’ve noticed this too? It make sense when you think about the disruption to the connective tissue along the midline to make way for baby’s exit 🫶 Follow @madeline_moves and let’s get even stronger with this approach 🤝 . A C-section causes disruption to the core’s layers and as a result can leave your linea alba and deep core system needing specific retraining. These cross-body moves rebuild the connection between your core, opposite inner thigh, and pelvic floor . Try 3 rounds: 10 bench-assisted single-leg crossbody presses 10 contralateral leg raises 10 dumbbell woodchops 10 single-leg sit-to-stands with a pillow or ball between your legs . PSA: these muscle systems are used in all of our daily life and beneficial to EVERYONE to train, there just might need a little extra attention after surgery to restore function and here’s how— . Like the post ❤️ and Comment “CROSSBODY” and I’m happy to send more info on this if you want to ensure your training represents this! . 📣📣 And if you’re doing the fall challenge (sign ups end Thursday ⏰), we had so much today from rotational presses to cross body chops to single leg stability and Contralateral deadbugs 💪🏼 what did I miss?
The days are finding their rhythm again. Work calls, duties return, the world moves on. But something in me has changed forever. My mother's absence lives in the quiet moments, in the little things, in the spaces she once filled. Nothing stays the same. That is the truth of life. We lose, we grieve, we heal and we learn to carry what we have lost as we walk forward. Moving on is not leaving her behind. It is carrying her with me and finding the strength to live the life she gave me. Life goes on. And so must I. #Mother #Love #Legacy #Strength #LRSM
