On October 17th, we showed the mansion owning elites who Vancouver truly belongs to. This city belongs to the workers who have built it brick by brick, to the seniors who have watched their neighbourhoods grow over decades, and to the student renters struggling to afford to stay.

This movement has proven that no matter how much money and institutional power the rich have, they cannot defeat the united power of the people.

I am honoured to have been elected as Vancouver’s youngest ever city councillor, at just 21, and Vancouver’s first openly nonbinary city councillor. I am so excited to serve this city alongside my amazing friends @seanorrofficial @intheknow_withchlo and @kumari_devyani on council. and I am so excited to work with our progressive friends from @vancouvergreens and @onecityvancouver especially the amazing Mayor-elect @ptfry

Thank you to everyone who ran for taking part in our city’s democracy and motivating people to come out for record breaking early voting turnout. And congratulations to everyone who won, across all 3 boards. We are going to do great work together.

Our movement has shown what it means for socialism and people power to win, now we need to show what it means for socialism and people power to govern. We are going to get straight to work to build affordable housing, protect tenants, take on the corporate lobbyists, and stop the AI data centres.

Thank you to every one of the over 60,000 voters and to the hundreds of volunteers who made this possible. I am so honoured to have been a part of the movement that we have all built together, and I am so excited to get to work for this city that we all love.

Guess Who?! 🫠❤️

A pink Trimfit Classic FKM Rubber Strap with spring deployment clasp from @nomadwatchworks , paired with Corey’s @enthuseddad Grand Seiko Snowflake. Still on loan, by the way. At this point, we’ve basically got joint custody. 😂 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and with Corey being such a strong advocate for the cause, wearing pink felt only right. Bonus points: my daughter picked the colour. Clearly, she’s got better styling instincts than her old man.

Also, apologies for being a bit quiet and not engaging as much in some groups lately. It’s been a bloody mental few days, and I’m currently juggling life like a drunk bloke trying to carry six pints. 😂 I’ll make it up to you lot , assuming life stops taking the absolute piss for five minutes.

OnlyHands is back, you lovely degenerates! Free premium content for all you geezers and lasses, I’ve even made a bloody reel. You’re welcome. 😂 And autumn has finally arrived: 10°C mornings, and I’m still not wearing a coat. Either I’ve developed an impressive tolerance for the cold or I’m simply well insulated. I’m blaming my wife’s baking. This body isn’t going to expand itself, is it?

A little pink for a good cause. A Snowflake on borrowed time. And absolutely no intention of dieting while there are baked goods in the house.💪🏻
