Thursdays can either be the best day of your life or the worst. As of 2025 68% of #NBCOT takers pass it on the first try so the pressure was on.. I passed guys 🥹🙏🏽 I passed my board exam on the first try.
“A Million Chances” featuring Tori Kelly is out now 🤯🥹🤍 This song reminds me that I’m not defined by my past mistakes, and God can actually use all that brokenness to make something so beautiful. Thank you @torikelly for blessing up this track and being such a joy to collab with.
He spent years trying to win the Halloween Heist, but his greatest victory had absolutely nothing to do with the game. Some television proposals are romantic. Others are funny. But Jake Peralta somehow managed to create a moment that was both, and made an entire generation believe in love. In Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 5 Episode 4, "HalloVeen" (2017), Jake Peralta, played by Andy Samberg, pulls off what might be the most beautifully unexpected proposal in sitcom history. For years, the Halloween Heist had been about competition, elaborate schemes, and proving who was the ultimate detective. But this time, Jake had something much bigger planned. Amy Santiago, portrayed by Melissa Fumero, thinks she's finally outsmarted everyone and won the championship belt. Then Jake asks her to read the inscription. "Amy Santiago, will you marry me?" And suddenly, everything changes. The confusion. The disbelief. The moment she turns around and sees Jake on one knee. Absolutely unforgettable. But what makes this iconic Brooklyn Nine-Nine scene so special isn't the elaborate setup or the perfectly executed surprise. It's what comes afterward. Jake, the guy who always has a joke ready, suddenly struggles to find the perfect words. He talks about everything he loves about Amy. Her intelligence, her kindness, her personality, and even her ridiculous little habits. And somehow, his imperfect speech becomes the most perfect thing he could have said. Because real love isn't about delivering a flawless romantic monologue. It's about knowing someone so completely that even their quirks become your favorite things. Written by Dan Goor and directed by Jamie Babbit, this 2017 episode proves why Jake and Amy remain one of the most beloved couples in sitcom history. Their relationship was built on friendship, competition, laughter, and genuine respect. And in that little evidence room at the Nine-Nine, all of it came together. He didn't need to win the Halloween Heist. He already knew who he wanted on his team forever.
what a day !!!! was not expecting to go as fast as we did for my 2nd half marathon but what a fun experience, I’m so proud of all the training I did & it rly paid off 🥹🙌 I trained for 14 weeks before with a custom @runna training plan & when it told me my projected race pace could be 8:30 I laughed I was like no way!! since majority of my runs were in the 9:30s.. it’s crazy how a training plan actually works 😂 with the dreaded tempo runs & speed work it rly improved my speed so now I feel so accomplished ! running right now feels like it’s fulfilling a part of me I haven’t felt since rowing in college just pushing myself mentally & physically & it feels so rewarding 💛 anyways here’s your sign if you’ve been looking for one to pick up running ! I used to dread it, & sometimes I still do lol it’s always hard but you start to like it because it’s hard if that makes sense ! you can use code GRETCHEN to try 2 weeks free of Runna for a personalized running plan from their coaches, obvi highly recommended I give all the credit to my runna plan for getting me in the best running shape I’ve ever been in 🏃‍♀️ we shall see if I take on a full marathon coming soon … !
