When I founded Shabby Chic® in 1989, my hope was simple: to create beautiful, timeless pieces for our homes that could be loved and lived with for years to come. That feeling is woven through every detail of the new Simply Shabby Chic® collection, available exclusively at @target.

Soft, faded florals, gentle ruffles and pieces that only get lovelier the more they’re used, mixed and layered. I can’t wait for you to make them your own. This beautiful program has only just begun and more to follow over time. Rest assured stock will be fully replenished over the next few days.

♥️Senior hoco♥️

We don’t call Western European nations Romance and Germanic nations, because that’s the group of their languages.

No, we call them by the name of their country. So, I don’t know about other Eastern European nations, but I as a Ukrainian prefer to be called either Eastern European or Ukrainian. Don’t put a fake label made up by russia on me.

A few days ago, I witnessed this glorious sunset - one that soothed both mind and soul. Mother Nature pours all her energy into sunsets and sunrises.

So this is 60.

I’ve lived a life that would sound made up if there weren’t so many witnesses. There have been wild adventures, questionable decisions, a few reinventions, and stories best told after the second bottle.

From PR and advertising to roasting coffee, opening a speakeasy, and writing a novel, I apparently confused “slowing down” with “opening something else.”

It hasn’t all been easy, and I haven’t gotten everything right. But I’ve taken chances, laughed my ass off, and built a life I couldn’t possibly have planned.

And then there’s my wife, Kira. Of all the unexpected turns, ending up with you is the one I’m most grateful for. You’re my best friend, my partner in this beautiful insanity, and somehow both the voice of reason and my biggest enabler. We’ve built businesses, chased crazy ideas, traveled, and laughed our way through a life neither of us could have predicted. I love your heart, your brilliant mind, your wicked sense of humor, and that we genuinely love being together—even after spending all day together. The adventures make great stories, but it’s the everyday life with you that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Sixty looks a hell of a lot better with you beside me.

And to my son and daughter: being your dad will always be one of the greatest privileges of my life. I love you both, I’m proud of the people you’ve become, and no matter how old any of us get, I’ll always be in your corner.

Now I get to celebrate with over 200 people from every chapter of my life. Childhood friends, college friends, newer friends, and friends flying in from around the country will all be together in one room. You know very different versions of me, and between you, you probably know far too much.

All kidding aside, that’s genuinely humbling. Taking time out of your lives, getting on planes, and showing up for me means more than I can put into a birthday post. I don’t take any of it for granted.

Thank you for being part of this crazy life—and for encouraging behavior we should probably all know better than to encourage.

Pour the good stuff. We’re nowhere near finished. 🥂
