2016 was the year I stopped training quietly.
It was the year I stepped into Ninja Warrior Arabia
and tested not just my body — but my courage. To this date, it still feels unreal.
Behind every obstacle were hours of discipline, failed attempts, and showing up anyway.
I used to watch the international versions of this competition and admire the champs and tell myself I wanna be like them. Until the opportunity came out of the blues, where I stood on the same course.
And in the same year,
I owned my presence beyond the gym.
I did 30 unbroken pushups
Handstand freely
Climbed an obstacles wall without security belt
Posted my first challenges
And gym humor
I learned that strength and femininity are not opposites —
they fuel each other.
2016 didn’t just shape my body.
It shaped my identity.
And everything I am today was built from there.
