Rocky The Cat

When I made the post entering Rocky into the @whiskerslodge window contest I neglected to tell you about my special boy. We found him on May 31, 2019 at 7AM. Catdad was heading into work when he spotted several crows in a rocky ravine. He thought they were eating garbage so he scared them away. He noticed something black so he headed down to check it out. To his surprise it was a tiny kitten wedged between the large rocks. He swiftly scooped him up and brought him home where I fell in love instantly. He was only 11 ounces, cold and hungry. The last pic is from a couple days after we found him in the very cardboard box Catdad put him in at work that day. Fast forward to today… he is a confident, loving, playful and predictable. We had three dogs at the time we found him and weren’t looking for a cat but he had other plans. Now, we couldn’t imagine life without him. It’s such a relief to know that Whiskers Lodge is here in the PNW when we need loving care for our Rocky boy! 😻
