@theinnerassembly -January can often feel bleak in this side of the hemisphere, cold damp and dark. It's strange how we can see ourselves in other peoples stories, a strangers song lyric personifying the exact emotion you have been afraid to process. A personal anecdote shared with humor, absolving yourself of a shame you carry around some of your own stories, a tragic tale spoken by the person who lived it, showing us the strength it takes to be vulnerable. To exist in a world where creativity lives mostly online - in dense algorithms, lasting 20seconds, posted into the abyss of a FYP. To know creativity can exist outside of the perimeters of professionalism, knowing the true essence of expression doesn't have to have an outcome. It is the natural curiosity of the mind to wonder, to imagine, to create. This is the true medicine to a bleak January. I believe this is the medicine to life.
