Today called for a long afternoon walk with Jansen. The kind of walk where you follow the sunshine, take the longer trail, and don’t worry if you get a little lost along the way… which we did!

We wandered back to a spot we visited years ago with David and took a photo of her in the very same place. Same view. Same sweet girl. Different season of life.

It was one of those quiet, full-circle moments, honoring old memories while making new ones right on top of them.

Grief and growth can share the same path. And today, that path was warm, peaceful, and exactly what we needed. 🤍
