A month on Prince Edward Island reminded me how good it feels to slow down a little.

Less rushing, more taking it all in. Long days outside, an unreasonable amount of good food, meeting kind, wonderful people. Did I mention the food!?

Until next time, PEI.

Dear Founder, don’t quit.

In 2011, I walked out of Covenant University with a Mass Communication degree, a blue suit and big dreams. I had no idea RAGE Media was coming.

From 2011 to 2017, I served various high level leaders across Nigeria, diligently solving problems and making things happen behind the scenes.

In 2017, we sat around one table working on our first pitch. That was when I learnt that starting a business is not as easy as it sounds. The beginning never looked pretty. The prospect did not see anything special in what we had. 🤣

In 2018, we were 19 talents in one cubicle, in one country. Growing and making things happen for people who were crazy enough to trust us.

Today, we are 200+ talents across our group of companies, in a building of our own, with offices in three countries. We have welcomed leaders, dignitaries and friends at the Lighthouse.

Then this October, someone sent me a screenshot. The same university I graduated from in 2011 was celebrating what we built, at its 21st Convocation.

I didn’t have many words. Just: God be praised.

Business is hard. Leading people is harder. Getting people to believe in a vision they cannot yet see is close to a miracle. But it happens.

If you are in your cubicle season right now, stay in the room. One day you will look back and be thankful.

Don’t quit.

Real love isn’t hard to find because people don’t want it. It’s hard to find because genuine connections are rare. ❤️

Falling in love is easy. Attraction is easy. Even finding someone to spend time with isn’t that difficult.

But finding someone who understands your silence, supports your dreams, stays beside you during your hardest days, and makes you feel safe enough to be yourself? That’s something special.

True love isn’t about expensive gifts, fancy dates, or perfect Instagram pictures.

It’s about the little things:
❤️ Someone who checks on you when you’re not feeling well.
❤️ Someone who listens without judging.
❤️ Someone who celebrates your smallest victories.
❤️ Someone who corrects you when you’re wrong but never makes you feel worthless.
❤️ Someone who chooses you even when life isn’t easy.

Remember, don’t just look for someone who gives you butterflies. Look for someone who gives you peace.

A few things to remember:
• Never settle for attention when you deserve genuine affection.
• Choose consistency over temporary excitement.
• Communicate openly and honestly.
• Be the kind of partner you’re hoping to find.

Because at the end of the day, true love sounds like six simple words: “No matter what, I got you.”

If you believe in this kind of love, share this with someone who deserves to read it. ❤️
