For me, Catherine O’Hara was easily the funniest woman on the planet. Far beyond her UNIVERSE of importance to me nostalgically (Home Alone, Beetlejuice, Nightmare Before Christmas), she was in every pocket of the BEST comedies and comedy writers of the times. SCTV, Schitts Creek, every Christopher Guest movie… she never wasn’t the best person on screen. What a huge loss, but I am so thankful that her signature style and art and ability to not give a damn is forever part of our culture. ❤️
