My friend is gone. I met Maven in 2009, before I even moved to New Orleans. He made my first set of fangs and opened his home to me when a series of unfortunate events left me out on the streets in a foreign country. I will never forget that. He was kind, generous to a fault, and made me feel safe. At a time when I was incredibly vulnerable, he stepped up as a community leader and a good friend, a good man, and made sure I was okay. He continued to advocate for me—and for so many others—even when speaking up was hard and put him at personal risk.

My heart goes out to everyone who loved him and who truly knew the quality of his heart. Things were supposed to get better. This is so deeply unfair.

Khloé Kardashian shocks Kris Jenner by sharing that she is thinking about having another baby—and even has a name picked out—after obtaining ownership of the frozen embryos she once shared with Tristan Thompson. 😳

For Your GRAMMY® Consideration — DEVOTION 🙏🏽

This album is a labor of love, faith, and the power of music to bring hope and joy to us all. My prayer is that Devotion reaches the hearts it was created for. I’m grateful to every soul who poured their gifts into this body of work. ❤️
