Surprisingly, cats falling from higher floors often survive better than those falling from lower ones because they have more time to spread their legs like a parachute, reaching a terminal velocity of about 60 mph.

𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓻𝓵𝓲𝓮 5/30/2012–9/24/2026 Good Boy I am devastated and at a loss for words after having to say a sudden goodbye to my best friend today. To all of our friends and family, thank you for loving and spoiling him too. Thank you for helping me give him a beautiful life filled with nothing but warmth, affection and little treats! And to my Charlie-dog-son: you took a huge piece of my soul with you 💔 and I will never be the same without you. But I wouldn’t trade our almost 15 years together for anything. Even though I don’t know how to exist without you yet. Thank you for seeing me through college, to my first one-bedroom shithole apartment and all the way into my later 30s (and your 90s—haha dog years!) to a house with a real yard. You survived an IVDD surgery and learned to walk again at the age of 6. You taught me so much with your tiny little shenanigans! I hope wherever you are now, you have all of your favorite foods (or you know, just foods…I think you loved them all equally) Rest easy, Buddy. You more than earned it.
Big Momma always told me I won the lottery, and I used to get so mad at her for saying it. But 15 years, 3 kids, a whole lot of life, and more ups and downs than anyone will ever know later… turns out she was right. I really did win the lottery. Happy anniversary to the love of my life ❤️
