I could not be prouder of my city of Minneapolis. Our city and its citizens have been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize! That’s the first time in the Award’s 125 years where a municipality and its residents en masse have been honored this way!
The world is watching as American citizens have been murdered, deported illegally, and had their civil and citizenship rights violated on a daily basis.
Children, teachers, families and businesses are being terrorized…and despite the fear, we march, we hold vigils, and support each other. Most of all, we stand proudly—and peacefully. And the world has taken notice.
