🚨 Punjab Bandh Over Drugs, But Dandiya Night at GGDSD College? ISF Questions SDCU! While Punjab stood up against the drug menace, a Dandiya Night was organised at GGDSD College, sparking questions over the timing of the event. 🔥 ISF has raised allegations against SDCU, questioning why the celebration was held on a day when Punjab Bandh had been called against drugs. ISF also claimed that several students could not attend the event due to the bandh. Was the timing of the event appropriate, or should the organisers have considered the situation in Punjab? 👀 When Punjab is raising its voice against drugs, should student organisations also reflect on their social responsibility? Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Angie Nixon’s populist campaign message of affordability is catching the eye of far-right figure James Fishback, who announced Tuesday he plans to attend one of her upcoming rallies featuring Sen. Bernie Sanders, a democratic socialist. Nixon, who is challenging Republican Sen. Ashley Moody, said Fishback is welcome to attend, but he “just can’t be bigoted.” Fishback lost the Republican gubernatorial primary to Naples Congressman Byron Donalds, coming in third with 10% of the vote after attacking Donalds’ race, calling him a “slave” to his donors and a “DEI” candidate. Fishback said on social media that he “may disagree with them, but they’ve tapped into something, and I want to see it for myself.” 🔗 You can read the full story at the link in our bio ✍️: Churchill Ndonwie 📸: Al Diaz

Apparently, holidays are optional in China. Chinese businesses have built a reputation for working long hours, responding quickly and getting things done while the rest of the world is figuring out its work-life balance. That work ethic has certainly helped China become the world’s manufacturing powerhouse, alongside decades of investment in infrastructure and technology. Of course, there’s a cost to this level of hustle. But good luck competing with a business that apparently doesn’t know what a weekend is. Credits: @carloAI/x
