What if…
In November 1988, the Alva Posse climbed out a studio window in Chicago and onto a fire escape.
Two rolls of Polaroid film. A case of Budweiser. No plan.
Stephen Scott Gross shot the image in black and white.
It became iconic.
But what if he had loaded Kodak color film instead?
This AI colorization isn’t an attempt to rewrite history—
it’s a way to sit with it differently.
Same moment.
Same people.
A parallel version that never existed.
All the best, H.O.A.

I so wish that skating had stayed in that direction. The punk rock, outsider direction with thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted wood and graphics. That Rocco era shit just killed it. And don't get me wrong, I tried to play along with that as much as I could but that was the left turn where I got left behind. Love those glory days, thanks for sharing
