At first, it looks like a rocket tearing through the desert. The speed feels unreal, almost impossible, and the camera barely keeps up. You assume the rocket car is the hero of the ad. Then the twist hits. The rocket car wasn't the point at all. The car filming those extreme shots was a BMW M5 - a four-door sedan moving fast enough to stay right there with it. No speed numbers on screen. No technical talk. Just a visual reveal that lets the viewer connect the dots. That's what made this ad great.
