One day, you will wish you could hear your mother’s voice just one more time. My brothers and sisters, be dutiful to your parents. They raised you when you were young, nurtured you when you were weak, and taught you when you knew nothing. While you still have them, give them your time, your love and your kindness. My mum, Hajja Nidal Harris, gave us so many moments of laughter. Even in those moments, she was teaching us lessons we would carry for life. We miss you so much, Mum. The memories make us smile, but how we wish you were here to make us laugh again. Allah yerhamha wa yaghfir laha. May Allah have mercy on her, forgive her and grant her Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
Having a “perfect” day every single day just isn’t realistic. Sometimes we forget we’re human. Humans who make mistakes. Humans who have lows, setbacks, and hard seasons. Every day ain’t gone be sunshine and that’s okay. The more I study the character of Jesus, the more I realize I will never be perfect. Not even close. But through Him, I can have better days. I can rise again. I can experience joy, growth, and strength beyond my own. I need Him. And here’s another thought… I truly believe a lot of us delay our dreams because of perfectionism. We want everything aligned just right before we move. But that mindset quietly says we’re still trying to be in control. The truth? The only way we step into everything God has revealed to us is by recognizing we cannot do it on our own. We need Him. So this is your reminder to be kind to yourself. Give yourself grace. Keep going, even on the imperfect days. Better days are coming 🤍 Shoutout to my in-person client Hannah for the quote. So much love for you! verse: 2 Corinthians 5:21✨
