Mediation is not a courtroom.
It’s not a performance.
And it’s definitely not a place where you show up, dig your heels in, and refuse to talk about anything except your issues.

Here’s the truth: mediation is built on compromise.
You’re bringing issues you want resolved.
The other side is doing the same.

If you walk into mediation thinking:
– “We’re only talking about what I care about,” or
– “Their issues don’t matter,”

you’re wasting your time, your money, and everyone else’s patience.

Successful mediation requires two uncomfortable but necessary things:
1️⃣ A willingness to hear the other side’s concerns
2️⃣ An understanding that resolution means give and take

You don’t have to like the other person.
You don’t have to agree with their position.
But you do have to engage with it.

March is Mediation March at Family Matters Law Group.
Special mediation rates and packages all month long.

Because mediation doesn’t fail in the room.
It fails in the mindset people bring with them.
