At Espacio Gallery with my image Altar Stone. 37th LIP Annual Exhibition closes on Tuesday. #jancylwikart
Image text from the exhibition catalogue: ⠀ ⠀
Hold me, in the dark till I’m stone cold.
Light the altar fire for the old.
Offer up incense, roast fowl and hen,
warm milk, wine and honey. Then,
Burn your keepsakes and my art.
Walk into the light, with me in your heart.
(This final image and text from a multi year project respond to emergence from grief. Photo taken at the Tomb of the Kings, a Ptolemaic necropolis in Paphos, Cyprus.)
