Showing new work in this group show. See you at the private view. by @jan_cylwik

First ecclesiastical commission! A gift for a departing parish priest. A bigger technical challenge than I ever imagined. It’s all about capturing the luminance and subtle details in the stained glass. by @jan_cylwik

Christine Kozlov: Conceptual Art exhibition has been immaculately staged at Raven Row, closes 26 April 2026.
Strangely fascinating to discover artists’ dedication to concepts like systematic art. Raven Row also has a large window masquerading as a work of art. #ravenrow #conceptualart by @jan_cylwik

An unexpected experiment. #jancylwikart by @jan_cylwik

Caught last day Lee Miller at Tate Britain and so glad I saw photos from the time she was a war correspondent. Shocking, moving, and memorable including one when she pictures a concentration camp survivor washing himself clean in Hitler’s personal bath (all staged but very symbolic). This photo is a ray of hope from post war Paris. #leemillerarchives #tatebritain by @jan_cylwik

At Espacio Gallery with my image Altar Stone. 37th LIP Annual Exhibition closes on Tuesday. #jancylwikart

Image text from the exhibition catalogue: ⠀ ⠀
Hold me, in the dark till I’m stone cold.
Light the altar fire for the old.
Offer up incense, roast fowl and hen,
warm milk, wine and honey. Then,
Burn your keepsakes and my art.
Walk into the light, with me in your heart.

(This final image and text from a multi year project respond to emergence from grief. Photo taken at the Tomb of the Kings, a Ptolemaic necropolis in Paphos, Cyprus.) by @jan_cylwik

It’s that time of year of year. Join me at Thursday’s PV or Saturday at the exhibition where I’m showing a previously unseen image. by @jan_cylwik

Caught last day of Seriously a conceptual art photography exhibition humourously curated by Nana Bahlmann. I’m drawn to this kind of thing. Sharing some images the last one being by from Keith Arnatt’s famous self burial. by @jan_cylwik

Ok it’s not art photography just a photostory in story in 4 shots. Unlikely catch at the Model Boat Pond Hampstead Heath London. Two beautiful carp most likely over 40 years old. After weighing they were carefully returned to the pond. Amazing to have witnessed this on a regular walk round the Heath. #jancylwikart #londonindependentphotography #hampsteadheathponds #heathhands #hampsteadheath #fishingphotography by @jan_cylwik

Irresistibly delicate light on a chapel flower arrangement filtered through stained glass windows. #jancylwikart #londonindependentphotography by @jan_cylwik
