Nick Cannon has become just as famous for his growing family as he is for his entertainment career. The comedian, actor, and television host has fathered 12 children with six different women, including twins with his ex-wife Mariah Carey. His family made headlines in 2022 when he welcomed five children in a single year, turning his personal life into an ongoing internet joke.

What’s especially interesting is how Cannon has embraced the public fascination with his family. He’s openly discussed the challenges of dividing his time between his children while maintaining a career that includes hosting The Masked Singer and running Wild ‘N Out, the comedy series he created in 2005. He’s also defended his unconventional family structure, explaining that being present in his children’s lives matters more to him than following traditional expectations.

Hello November, happy New month 🍁🍂😘

I think this has been the most tricky bathroom I’ve ever designed. I was originally planning blue & white stripes in here as it’s the bunk room bathroom but I’ve decided I want to keep it a bit more mid-century feeling. I’ve been all around the houses with the blue tiles though. I nearly gave up on them but some of these images have convinced me to keep going with them. I think with blue one just has to be very careful it doesn’t end up looking clinical by introducing wood, art, softness and another colour such as red. I think I’m second-guessing everything as there’s so much hanging on the design of the whole of Vipers Quay. It’s not been touched properly since the 1990s and I’m now responsible for the house’s design on behalf of my entire extended family, which im loving, but I’m also feeling the weight of that responsibility.

I’m off to the house (it’s in Devon) on Tuesday along with some of my cousins to strip as much out as possible ahead of the builders starting on the 9th. We’re trying to save a bit of money by DIYing this bit as we’re on a tight budget. It’s real and it’s happening and I’m piling the pressure on myself to sort out the final design decisions. I’ll keep you posted on where I end up with this room and all the others.

Keep coming back and watching if you’d like to see how this bathroom and the whole house unfold over the next few months. I hope you enjoy the transformation of this incredible house as much as me!
