Recently I was blessed with old photos from 2011-2015 I thought I’d lost forever. Not having seen these photos for over 10 years, it’s given me such delight to take a peak into the young girlhood I experienced in the hills of Northern California. Alot of time spent outside, in the grass and the water, being creative, playing uke and developing friendships I still keep to this day.
Now I’m 25, and to my younger brother I am “unc” yet to my elders I have “plenty of time”. Suddenly as I’ve departed the early 20’s, time moves faster than ever and it has me wondering if I’m spending my precious life on things that actually matter, and what exactly are those things?
While there is no right answer, here’s a few lessons I ought to learn from young Zo: Stay curious, put yourself out there, move your body, spread positivity, and always give it your all.
Cheers to being unapologetically authentic, never stop playing, and tell your mother you love her!!
