OOF!! THAT HAS BEEN A BUSY FEW DAYSโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ And a joke! Bob had a big birthday last week so Iโ€™ve been plotting some secret stuff for the past few months! (And Iโ€™ve learned Iโ€™m actually a much better liar than I thought I was!! ๐Ÿ˜‚) So first stop was jumping on a โœˆ๏ธ from Edinburgh to London to stay with lovely pals and go and see one of Bobโ€™s favourite bands Band of Horses (yeah me neither ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚) ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Obviously involved shenanigans with large letters and lots of eating and drinking and laughs! A fab tour around (that) London and thenโ€ฆ off to Gatwick for part 2! ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ which was a trip to Rotterdam an absolutely awesome city! I will post more to my stories. And what made it extra magical was our daughter, son and his fiancรฉ made a surprise appearance! We stayed in a lovely old apartment; explored all areas and loved the combination of old and new architecture; gorgeous walk around the Kralingse park with lunch in the baking heat; water taxi to Delfshaven; amazing art gallery with a fab exhibition by Marisol. Definite recommendation for a great city break. And check out the giant fox ๐ŸฆŠ and my silver fox! ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค โœˆ๏ธ then on to Schipol airport for part 3โ€ฆ coming up next week! And the DUTCH joke! I walked past a pet shop in Rotterdam and saw a lovely cat. I wanted to be sure it was a genuine cat from the Netherlands so I went into the shop and asked the assistant... โ€˜How Dutch is that moggie in the window?โ€™ ๐Ÿ™€๐Ÿ˜ธ๐Ÿ˜ฝ Have a fab weekend xx #weeklyrecap #travelphotography #europeantravel #rotterdam
