Yesterday someone at the gym asked me if I miss being as lean as I used to be. I said sure, sometimes I do! Looking back, I gotta admit, having a shredded 6 pack was pretty cool 😜 BUT, the way I approach fitness today is VERY different , especially since becoming a mom. I used to be all about constantly pushing myself to look a certain way. Now my priorities have shifted a lot. Do I still care about how I look? OF COURSE! But having shredded abs 24/7 is no longer my definition of being fit. I am still training hard because I LOVE lifting, enjoying food, spending time with my little family, and not letting fitness consume my life. Because YES, you can work toward your dream physique, get stronger, and feel amazing in your body WITHOUT putting the rest of your life on hold! And I’d LOVE to help you do just that! One of the biggest mistakes women make when trying to lean out is focusing so much on losing weight that they forget about keeping the muscle they’ve worked so hard to build. And then they wonder why their butt disappeared along with the weight! At 49, I’m not interested in just being skinny. I want to be lean, strong, and KEEP my curves.
