Through a close, hands-on assembly process, the work came to life.
By supporting DRIFT, the aim was to translate their vision, drawn from the subtle rhythms of nature and the collective sway of a field of grass into a repeatable system. Starting from a prototype, we developed an assembly approach that could be executed consistently at scale.
From testing components and refining tolerances, to assembling 500 delicate units, we focused on repeatability, handling, and reliability. Each step was tuned through small adjustments to make sure every element could move, respond, and perform as part of a larger whole once installed on site.
TEAL took responsibility for the full assembly, packaging, and shipment of the 500 units to the installation location, ensuring the work arrived ready for smooth on-site integration while safeguarding the artistโs intent throughout the process.
If youโre developing a project where both vision and execution matter, weโd be happy to explore how we can help bring it to life.
