SK Horton

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve updated my “about the author” and I have so many new followers—here’s a bit about me!

💖My YA romantasy series Heir of Earth and Sky consists of THE CONCEALED, THE CAPTURED, AND THE CROWNED. It’s been a wild couple of years since Aethon Books signed me for this three-book deal, and I’m grateful for all my readers! PS—it’s been harder than I ever thought, but I don’t regret it!

🔪My side project, MURDER AT PLAY, a YA, clue-coded mystery, was recently signed by agent Rachel Estep, from D4EO, and is currently on submission to publishers. What does this mean? I could have a publishing deal next week, next year, or maybe my next book will be picked up, not this one. You guys will find out along with me!

🌵I’m from Arizona and buy sunscreen in bulk for me, my husband, and my two teen daughters. I also have a bossy cat (who doesn’t appreciate the need for sunscreen layers)

🩻 I’m a physician—a radiologist—and finished 15 years of school after HS to complete my training. I used to be a doctor in the Air Force. I started writing because I wanted something creative after reading so many medical books.

📚 I write books I’d feel comfortable for my teen daughters to read—Kissing-only. If you’re looking for spice in YA, look elsewhere. But if you want a bit of swoon, you’re in the right place.
