From the day I left One Ocean I’ve been asked by friends and strangers about my time there and why I left. This conversation is extremely scary. I’m embarrassed I dealt with being there for so long. I’ve tried my best to erase my association with One Ocean. I want the same thing now that I did the day I left: To not get constantly asked about it, heal, and move on with my freaking life. Hopefully now that it’s out there you can just read this instead of asking me about it. *also I am not patient zero, that woman is one of the fiercest badasses I know

I would peel oranges for you. I would warm your hands inside my pockets. I would learn how you like your tea and when you need one. I would save you the seat next to me every time. I would get out of bed to turn off the light you forgot. I would come outside to help carry your bags. I would leave the best bite on your plate. Let me love you like that. Btw, poetry book ‘Between Heaven & Earth’ is out now. It’s a collection of poems about love, heartbreak, loneliness, inner struggles, healing, and the quiet journey of understanding yourself and life along the way. If you’d like to read it, comment “Book” and I’ll send you the link. [poetry, poet, thefallenpoe.t, victorianpoetry, quietlove, letmeloveyou, reallove, poetrycommunity]
