I finally got to hanging some art in our new place, including a brand new piece from my talented cousin @eclette_ - this gorgeous masque, handmade out of her special recycled cardboard material. (Check out her work!) It sits underneath an oil painting by my aunt Dee. Dee had this incredible ability to capture light. This wall also includes the artwork I bought after selling my first book, the Muka Youth Print I bought in high school, Facebook Marketplace finds that I ended up loving, and a fun painting I bought in a café in Whangarei where my parents now live. Best of all, it still has space to hang more!
