It is with the heaviest of hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our very own Jumbo Basi, the heart and soul of Fairbairn Boxing Club.

Jumbo was so much more than a boxing coach. He was a mentor, a father figure, a role model and an inspiration to generations of young people who walked through the doors of our club.

He dedicated his life to the sport he loved, giving countless hours to coaching, refereeing, judging and helping others fulfil their potential. But his greatest achievement went far beyond boxing. Jumbo didn’t just teach boys how to box; he helped turn boys into men. He taught discipline, respect, courage and the importance of never giving up, lessons that will stay with so many for a lifetime.

His impact stretched far beyond the ropes of the boxing ring. He was a pillar of the community, someone who gave his time, knowledge and heart to others, never asking for anything in return.

Fairbairn Boxing Club was more than just a club to Jumbo. It was his life, his passion and his family. The legacy he leaves behind lives on in every boxer he coached, every life he touched and every person who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our club will never quite be the same without him, but everything he built and stood for will continue to live on through Fairbairn.

Our thoughts, love and prayers are with the entire Basi family, his friends and the wider boxing community during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Jumbo. Thank you for everything you gave to our club, our community and the sport of boxing.

Forever our coach. Forever our mentor. Forever Fairbairn. 💙🥊

🔥 **THE HOODIE ERA IS BACK. THE LEGENDS NEVER LEFT.** 🖤💛

Some styles never fade. They simply wait for the right moment to make their comeback.

I'm bringing back an old favorite of mine: the **iconic hoodie and urban streetwear aesthetic**, reinvented with explosive graffiti, bold black-and-yellow contrasts, rebellious energy, and a touch of anime madness. ⚡

This is a return to one of my old signature styles, with a fresh evolution and even more attitude.

**Old school vibes. New era energy. THE HOODIE STYLE IS BACK!** 🔥

Which one is your favorite? 👀
