People are so willfully stupid about the fact that walking a long distance isn't the same as standing up for a few seconds

Hey, I see electric wheelchairs and manual ones. The manual ones must be really tiring? Are there benefits to manual ones, do you get them on the NHS? Thanks 🙌

Just watch some YouTube videos on how to walk. I promise it’s not that hard. It’s so easy that I can’t even remember not being able to walk

I work as an assistant for people with disabilities and one my client is a wheelchair user but in her home she moves only on her knees! People have different reasons to use a wheelchair, different mobility and everything, but if they have it they do need it. It's really not easy to get a wheelchair just like that

Its sad how many people still don't understand how disabillity is different for people. Disabled people have good days and bad days. Sometimes they can do a lot. Other times they struggle with basic things. I say this as someone with a disabled mother. She has good days and bad days. Just like everyone. Its common sense but I'm afraid people are incapable of using it. 😭
