Comment β€œtrials” and I’ll show you how you can now automate Instagram trial reels! Trial reels only get shown to people who don’t follow you, so you can test a bunch of versions of the same film without spamming your followers. We used them to figure out which opening makes people keep watching. First, we built a Claude skill that edits the versions for you. You drop a finished film into a folder and Claude cuts it into five vertical versions: a control, a β€œwait for” hook, a flash-forward, a cold open and a series pitch. It also writes hook lines for you to pick from. Then we built a second skill that posts them as trial reels and tracks the results every hour for 48 hours. It’s still experimental, but it works. We ran this all week on Dino Demolition Squad, our newest @dreamina_ai Nexus episode. We put out half a dozen intro hooks as trials and went with the one that got the most views. I put together a full guide to our workflow plus both Claude skills.
