A man’s favorite treatment is peace. You can disagree with somebody and still make them glad they chose you. That’s the kind of love worth coming home to. #runtheplay
i’m a working mom of 2 w a full time 9-5, and let me just say first that EVERY generation of moms had it hard, our moms lived through 70s gas lines & inflation too, and they raised us with way less help and I am not discounting any of that 🤍 AND the numbers on what millennial moms are carrying right now are kinda insane tbh - daycare averages $13,128 a year per kid according to Child Care Aware of America, the avg house now costs 5x the median household income when 3 is what’s considered affordable (according to Harvard), 1/3 of school parents told Pew they’re very or extremely worried about a sh00ting at their kid’s school, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children gets nearly 100 reports a DAY of kids being s3xtorted online, and the American Psychological Association found 48% of parents say their stress is completely overwhelming on most days, compared to 26% of other adults. so if you feel like you’re holding more than your mom was at your age, the data literally backs you up and it’s frickin sad tbh 😢 i can’t fix rent or daycare prices, but i did change how much my phone runs my evenings. my email and text notifications stay OFF, so i check them when i decide to and mark the real ones unread. daycare drop off and pickup are recurring invites on my work calendar, so nobody books a meeting over them. and an AI project plans our dinners every sunday and sends me the grocery list, so i’m not on doordash at 5:15. which means at pickup my phone is in my bag and i’m actually playing pretend grocery store with my 3 year old (the cutest 🥹) hit follow and comment SYSTEMS for my free mom systems guide, it has the one-tap shortcut that flips my phone to personal focus mode at pickup !! if you’re new here i’m erin, and i build the systems that let you do both, be a great mom and have a career, and all the ones in between that take the mental load off you. follow @kee_to_wellness #workingmom #mentalload #millennialmom #workingmomlife #momsofinstagram millennial moms, mental load, working mom of two, 9 to 5 mom, cost of childcare, parental stress, mom burnout, working mom systems, daycare mom, working mother, mom systems

Today in Paris, KISU tried to push me into the Seine. I guess he’s getting nervous because I’m about to become famous. But it can’t be helped—I’m going to be more famous than KISU. Because I’m Cookisu🍪💕
