St. Severus the Patriarch of Antioch. After being exiled for defending the orthodox churches, the Patriarch St. Severus went to Egypt in hiding and dressed as a lowly monk. He went to attend a liturgy at a monastery. During the liturgy, the lamb disappeared. After a revelation from God, it was revealed that a patriarch was in the midst of the congregation!
St. Severus is a bit controversial when it comes to Orthodox Unity, but his peaceful and eloquent defense of the faith is something for all of us to look to.
