😍 One of the best things about living in Cascais is that you’re just minutes away from both Lisbon and Sintra. This is Azenhas do Mar, in Colares, Sintra, only a 30-minute drive from Cascais. Have you ever been here?

Beautiful beaches, amazing restaurants, luxury hotels, international schools, world-class golf and an incredible quality of life. That’s why so many people fall in love with Cascais 💙

Homemade brown butter banana cookies 🍪

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup brown butter (113g)
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar (67g)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (110g)
- 1 room temperature egg
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup mashed banana (I just mashed one banana)
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour (150g)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- chocolate chips

Instructions:

In a pot, melt butter until it burns and turns brown and cool for 10 minutes and be cool to the touch.

Once cooled, put into mixing bowl and combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, and banana (warm up so it’s easier to blend together) and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and set aside.

In a separate bowl for dry ingredients, combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt and mix well.

Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix SLOWLY until you reach 3/4 of mixture and chocolate chips. Fold in ingredients until everything is evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Freeze for 30 minutes.

Once it’s cold, mold dough into balls and put on baking sheet spread apart 2”.

Preheat oven to 350°F and bake cookies for 13-15 minutes.

Once baked and cookies are still warm, press on extra toppings for more decoration.

Cool completely and enjoy!
