Open Studio Patterns

I’ve been wanting to involve my serger less in the construction of my garments. So, when the #WillowSkirt development came around I thought it was a great moment to include an advanced finishing technique like a bound zipper in a French seam. Many of our testers reported that they were nervous to try it at first, but the instructions + video walked them through it and they were able to achieve a beautiful finish that surprised them. 👏 It’s also not as hard as it looks!

I’ll be sure to post a dedicated tutorial for the bound zipper in a French seam at a later date.
