✨ October 2026 Reading Wrap-Up ⭐️👻🎃🖤🦇⭐️ October had me fully embracing spooky season! A good portion of my TBR was filled with paranormal romance, witchy reads, demons, dark fantasy, and a little supernatural mystery. It was fun leaning into the darker, more magical side of romance this month. Overall, October was the perfect mix of spooky, swoony, magical, and a little bit of everything! ᴏᴄᴛᴏʙᴇʀ ʙᴏᴏᴋꜱʜᴇʟꜰ : What I Read this Month 𝙈𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙨: 📖 16 Books 📄 6,283 Pages Three 5 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓 ⭐️ Thirteen 4 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓 ⭐️ My fav 5 star this month was: Entities to Lovers by @mallorymarlowewrites ✨•✨•✨ ᴏᴄᴛᴏʙᴇʀ ʜɪɢʜʟɪɢʜᴛꜱ: I got to attend the Jodi Picoult 30 Chapter Tour stop in OR, which was a great night. My favorite part was learning about the research that goes into her books. I could listen to her stories all day. She’s captivating. The hubs and I also got away for a long weekend in San Diego, just the two of us (sorry, kids 😂). I got to visit two new-to-me bookstores, Mysterious Galaxy and Meet Cute. I always love visiting bookstores when we travel. A few non-bookish highlights: We made it to our local farm to pick out pumpkins and definitely got our fill of apple cider donuts and apple slushies. We slowed down a bit this month, and it was a nice change of pace. ✨•✨•✨ 2026 𝑮𝒐𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒄𝒌 𝑰𝒏 🔎 Hmm, will I hit 200 books this year? It was a stretch goal, but now that I’m getting so close, I’d love to make it happen. November and December can be a toss-up as life gets busy, so we’ll see. When it comes to ARCs, I definitely fell behind. I overcommitted, and balancing reading for fun with reading what I need to is a constant battle. I’m trying to get caught up so I can end the year in a good spot. Even the Sun is in a good mood today ☀️😊 NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory spotted what looks like a giant smiley face on the Sun’s surface, made up of dark regions called coronal holes. These are cooler, less dense areas where the star’s magnetic field opens up and lets solar wind stream out into space. It’s a classic case of pareidolia, our brain’s habit of finding faces in random shapes. This time, the face just happens to belong to a star about 93 million miles away 🌞 Media: @NASA
