Knowing what we know now about space travel…
did the Moon landing really happen the way we were told?
With people like Elon Musk and SpaceX only now figuring out how to launch, land, and relaunch rockets —
it’s wild to think we went to the Moon in 1969… landed… and came back.
Was it Cold War pressure?
Or did we really make that giant leap?

There’s no way. I don’t believe it. The moon has rovers for sure. But 1969 cmon. I used to strongly believe it. I remember there was a YouTube video in 2010ish showing the moon landing and I thought it was real but then someone said look at the flag it’s waving in the wind. There’s no wind in space.

My question is, if we didn’t get to the moon, why did our biggest rival, the USSR, who was entirely capable of observing via telescope or satellite and nullifying the claim, congratulate us? No chance they didn’t have their eyes on the moon to verify our claim

What people saw on tv was Hollywood of course. But we’re on the moon. Just arrived in a completely different way.
