~ The Gazans Who Allied Themselves with Israel

Todays post features no less than 20 images and videos showing Gazan Palestinians affiliated with Militias that have allied themselves with the Israeli Defence Forces.

In quite a few of these pictures, the Militia members can be seen donning IDF uniforms, Israeli Agilite plate carriers as well as Israeli flag patches. Additionally, Images 1,3,4 and 5 show “Popular Forces” Militia Commander Ghassan Duhine armed with an Israeli supplied M4 pattern rifle fitted with a Meprolight RDS all while seemingly cosplaying as former IDF General Rafael “Raful” Eitan with the red beret.

There are Currently *6* Israeli backed militias operating in the Gaza Strip.

The 6 anti-H@m@s militias and networks reported to operate in Gaza with varying degrees of Israeli support are the Popular Forces, formerly led by Yasser Abu Shabab and subsequently by Ghassan Duhine based in Rafah; Hossam al-Astal’s Counter Terrorism Strike Force, operating around Khan Younis; Ashraf al-Mansi’s People’s Army, in northern Gaza; Rami Halas’s Shujaiya Popular Defense Forces, operating in eastern Gaza City; Shawqi Abu Nassira’s Popular Army, based around Deir al-Balah in central Gaza; and the Doghmosh clan’s armed network, active around Gaza City.

IDF backed militias have increasingly operated as forward ground forces and local intelligence assets for the IDF in Gaza. Using local networks and intelligence about H@m@s personnel and movements, they have carried out raids, abductions and targeted assassinations of H@m@s police commanders and security officials, while routinely clashing with H@m@s affiliated forces.

The IDF has also provided air support during militia engagements, including strikes that have helped the groups disengage when their operations were exposed. The arrangement allows Israel to put Palestinian fighters on the ground to penetrate H@m@s influenced areas, gather information, capture suspects and disrupt internal security networks, while reducing the risks to IDF troops.

Image 6 even shows Militia members donning breathing apparatus for subterranean use inside H@m@s tunnel networks.
